Calls and the leaderboard
Logging a call, how peaks are tracked, alpha versus gamble, and ranking.
Every group has someone who claims they called it. Calls settles the argument with timestamps.

Logging a call
Scan a token, and a prompt appears offering to log that scan as your call. Only the person who ran the scan sees it. Telegram authenticates who sent the message, so nobody can claim someone else’s scan.
Entry market cap is copied straight off the scan you already ran, so logging costs nothing and takes one tap. In groups where Proficy is not an administrator the prompt cannot be delivered at all; use /call there instead.
Scan a hundred tokens and you see one prompt, showing whatever you just looked at. The previous unanswered one is removed. Nothing piles up, so there is no daily cap. The point of the feature is to make scanning more rewarding, not to ration it.
Why the peak, and not the price now
A call is scored on the highest market cap the token reached after it was called, for as long as its pair stays live. Not the price today.
That is deliberate. Scoring on the current price measures when somebody sold, which is a different skill and not the one the leaderboard is about. Peak measures the call.
Alpha and gamble
- Alpha: a real call. Counts toward points, win rate and rank.
- Gamble: a punt. Tracked, and it can still produce a card worth posting, but it never touches your ranked record.
This split is the whole reason the board is not a lottery. Without it, one 500x on a coin flip outranks a year of being right.
The cards
/pnl renders a call as a picture worth posting. There are three kinds and the difference between them is the whole feature.
- Scan: what a token reached after you looked at it, whether or not you called it. Never red, because the peak is what the scan earned.
- Ranked: a logged alpha call. The headline number is the peak; the line under it is where the token is today.
- Unranked: a gamble. Same card, marked UNRANKED, worth zero points, and still very much worth posting.
A card carries the caller’s name and rank, the entry, the peak and the current market cap. /pnl on its own offers your own calls; /pnl <symbol or contract> goes straight to one.
The leaderboard
/calls opens the panel: the board for this group, everything currently live with its multiple, and buttons for My rank, Proof of early and the global board across every Proficy group. /mycalls is your own record, delivered privately. There are three commands in total; rank and early used to be their own and are now views of the panel, which is where you already are when you want either of them.
Alerts and opting out
When one of your calls doubles you get told, privately, and again at every doubling after that: 2x, 4x, 8x, 16x. Turn that off, or opt out of the feature entirely, in /mycallsettings. The opt-out is on every prompt too, and it is permanent rather than per-session.
You cannot call the same token twice, which is what stops a dip from being farmed for a better entry. If you try, the bot shows you the call you already have and what it has done since.
